so while i was at work today, one of the paws volunteers told me that she had been called "the b word" by the angry lady who owns the little dogs we helped care for after they were displaced by a fire in their home. (this lady is angry because we didn't want to give 40 obviously neglected little dogs back to a currently homeless person with no questions asked).
i was happy to be able to lift her spirits, with the statement that i have never called her a "b word" - i use far more creative terms.
the laughter that ensued sent me into a coughing fit, and i had to leave the room.
