should have. i did just about everything else yesterday: laundry, dishes, walking the dog, eating an entire 6-pack of bagels in less than 24 hours, vacuuming, repairing the vacuum, feeding animals, scooping cat litter, oh, and then it was 11am so i had to start getting ready for the open house at work. so i got all showered and dressed up and headed on over across the street. a huge thanks to my coworkers who had updated my poster with a photo of teddy instead of the ex (i don't have a printer right now).
so then i set up the x-ray machine and took my first ever x-ray all by myself. it was awesome: the teddy bear had "eaten" a binder clip! several open house attendees were amused by this. the ocean shores pirates provided us some snack trays, and sleeping bear studio brought us punch. the cake was purchased at safeway: chocolate with raspberry filling and some cool congratulatory decoration on top.
attendance was great. we were busy the whole time and gave lots of tours. four of the six kittens tricia's been fostering have found tentative homes from attendees. many people took flyers about the pet photo contest (www.OSAHPetPhotos.blogspot.com) and we got a few world vets donations. all in all a successful couple of hours. very tiring though.
and bless miss betty if she didn't stop by the open house with something else i needed to sign for the prequal. i should find out my price range in a few days, and then i'm giving the realtor a call.
